Ron Cooper established his successful Los Angeles, California-based real estate brokerage and management company, R.S. Cooper & Associates, in 1983, specializing in the maintenance, marketing and disposition of REO properties. Mr. Cooper’s stellar reputation, professionalism and expertise have positioned his company to service an enviable list of corporate and individual clients. The 30 real estate agents carrying the R.S. Cooper & Associates brand, are integral parts of a brokerage that provides full-service and custom care to the company’s client base.
Mr. Cooper has methodically grown his company over more than 29 years in the fast-paced southern California real estate arena. At the company’s inception, Ron guided his realty firm into a specialty overlooked by a number of his industry competitors. Today, his “Production Team” service model continues to enable the company to perform the administrative, marketing, sales, property management, maintenance, and client liaison functions that are key to handling REO properties. His experience and business model have set the standard for other brokerages building an REO-focused client base.
Active in industry trade groups, Mr. Cooper holds membership and is active in the California Association of Real Estate Brokers (CAREB); the Consolidated Board of Realtists; the Southwest Los Angeles Board of Realtors; the National Association of Realtors; the California Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Real Estate Brokers. His proven leadership skills have been recognized and utilized by a number of organizations whether on the local, state, regional or national level. He has served as NAREB’S Region XV Vice President, a National Board Member and past President of the Consolidated Realty Board. He also served on the Freddie Mac Real Estate Advisory Group. Most notably, Mr. Cooper is currently the Second Vice President of NAREB, in line to become President of the nation’s oldest minority trade association.
Mr. Cooper resides in Los Angeles and is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
